Carina!

My daughter has begun to speak Eng-Lian: English with some Italian peppered in. Here are two of my favorites:

The other day she went to the door, looked out it and proclaimed "Its raining. Mamma Mia!"

Yesterday she was "helping mommy make cookies" and knowing my disapproval grabbed a chunk of raw cookie dough and shoved it in her mouth before I could even register what was going on. She looked at me and states "mmmmm, buono!" How could I reprimand her after that? Fortunately she didn't get a belly ache!
