Wish I was in Rome Panini
1 chicken breast, grilled
2 slices thick french bread
2 oz Fresh mozzarella
1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp EVOO
Fresh Basil & Oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
In a small bowl mix the Balsamic, EVOO, herbs, garlic powder and salt. Brush vinegar mixture on the inside of the slices of bread. Layer the chicken, tomato slices, mozzarella in between the slices. Place on press and grill until cheese is melted and the bread is crunchy.
Alternate version: Leave the chicken out and have a nice Caprese Panini.
